Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

You will be warmly welcomed by our company representative at your hotel or the airport. After a briefing, we will embark on an exciting journey to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, approximately 254 km from Nairobi. Enjoy an enroute game drive as we traverse the vast plains of this iconic reserve. Upon arrival at the lodge, check-in and indulge in a delicious lunch before taking some time to rest. In the late afternoon, set out on a game drive around the reserve, which is celebrated for its picturesque acacia-dotted plains. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five – black-maned lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, and elephants, among other wildlife.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara

Rise and shine! After breakfast, embark on a full day of game drives within the reserve. Today’s adventure includes a visit to the Mara River, where you can observe crocodiles basking in the sun while hippos yawn and play in the water. If you visit during the great wildebeest migration, which occurs between July and October, witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the river turning into a valley of life and death, as the wildebeests bravely cross it. Keep an eye out for the majestic big cats, as they prepare for their nocturnal hunts in the evening.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, seize the opportunity for more game drives around the Maasai Mara Reserve. With a bit of luck, you may encounter the elusive Big Five! Return to the lodge, check-out, and embark on an enroute game drive as we make our way to Lake Nakuru National Park via Narok. Savor a delicious lunch before continuing the journey. Lake Nakuru, nestled in the Great Rift Valley, awaits you with its abundant birdlife and unique ecological diversity. Upon arrival at the lodge, check-in and take some time to relax. In the evening, embark on a game drive to witness the varied habitats surrounding the lake.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before setting off on an en route game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park. Experience the park’s rich avian life and diverse landscapes before we begin our journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll drop you off at your chosen location for your departure home.
