Day 1: Arusha to Moshi to Tarangire National Park

Embark on an exciting journey as we drive to Tarangire National Park, offering excellent game viewing opportunities. Despite being a smaller park, Tarangire astounds visitors with its breathtaking sights. During the dry seasons, the park comes alive as diverse wildlife and birdlife gather around the Tarangire River, a permanent water source. You’ll be amazed by the sheer abundance of wildlife. Our lodge, nestled beautifully inside the park, provides stunning views and an unparalleled atmosphere for a restful night’s stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Begin the day with an early morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This unique area is managed for the benefit of both the wildlife and the local Masai people who coexist harmoniously with the animals. Along the way, catch a glimpse of the fascinating Masai way of life. Upon reaching the entrance gate, take the opportunity to learn more about the volcanic landscape surrounding you. Drive along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you might spot herds of wildebeest or buffalos from above. Descend into the crater, a natural sanctuary for various animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and if you’re lucky, leopards. The only creature you won’t find in this haven is the giraffe due to the steep crater walls. As the day draws to a close, we head to our permanent tented camp for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

Today, we journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of thrilling game drives. Although one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, Lake Manyara offers a rich and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore teems with vibrant birdlife, and you might be fortunate enough to spot the elusive tree-climbing lions. The park also boasts a surprising array of other large mammals, and the dramatic cliffs of the Rift escarpment provide a picturesque backdrop. In the late afternoon, we head to our permanent tented camp after an eventful day.
