The Best of Nairobi Orphaned Endangered Wildlife Tour
You shall be picked at 8 Am in the morning after taking breakfast from your Hotel by our driver guide who will meet and great, brief you on the tour and depart.
Spend the day as you discover the 3 destinations established to be a home for the endangered and the rescued animals in Kenya. Here you will see the beautiful creatures abandoned in the woods, orphaned or threatened by activities of poaching.
Start the tour at the Giraffe center, 30 minutes from Nairobi CBD. At the giraffe center you shall discover the hundreds of the endangered Rothschild giraffes from an elevated platform where you can see them an eye to an eye. Enjoy feeding the giraffes and petting them with the closest view you can have in Kenya.
Take lunch at a Nairobi hotel before visiting the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. Learn the history behind the orphanage establishment and the stories of the rescued elephants as survivors of poaching. See the rescued elephants, assist in bottle feeding as well as watch the team of staff feed and care for them. Your visit here contributes to David Sheldrick wildlife trust which focuses on rescuing the elephants as well as their up keep.
Wind up the day by visiting the Nairobi National orphanage .The orphanage is located inside the Nairobi National Park and is home and refuge to the many orphaned wild animals. It is a successful establishment as a rehabilitation center for animals like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, among many others. The animals are fed with milk, meet , vegetables , grass, and grains for their survival.
At the end of the day, you shall be taken back to your Hotel to mark the end of the tour.
